FCCJC offers a spring flag football program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. In addition, a 7-on-7 program will return for 5th-8th grade teams in 2010!   All games are played at Heritage Park Football Complex, 162nd and Pflumm in Olathe.

Individual or team registration for flag football is held in February and March (mail-in, fax, hand-delivery or on-line before the deadline) and games are played in April and May.  Teams are formed by high school area, as registrations allow, and if volunteer coaches can be identified.  Registration deadline for the flag program is Friday, March 12.  Practices may begin March 29, games begin April 10.  The flag coaches meeting will be held Tuesday, March 23 at 7 pm in the lower level conference room at 6740 Antioch, Merriam, Kansas.

For the 7-on-7 program, no individual registrations will be accepted (for players to be placed on teams). Team sign-up only is allowed; however, individual registration forms must be completed and fees paid.   Teams may be formed without regard to any geographical boundaries (i.e. high school area). Coaches must complete a team roster form and submit by extended deadline of Wednesday, March 31.  Rosters must have a minimum of 10 players.  Player fees and registration forms are also due by March 31.  The 7-on-7 coaches meeting will be held Tuesday, April 6 at 7 pm in the lower level conference room at 6740 Antioch, Merriam, Kansas.  Games will begin Saturday, April 17.  If you are an individual wanting to play on a 7-on-7 team or a coach looking for additional players, please email Pam Nicely at pnicely@fccjc.org to be placed on a waiting list.

The registration brochure is now available, which provides more details on both programs.

Head and assistant coaches must complete an application on an annual (calendar year) basis -- individuals coaching in the spring and then again in the fall season do not need to complete an application for each season.  Background checks are performed on all head and assistant coaches.
